I have chosen Framestore to talk about and summarize for my preliminary task on post-production.
Framestore was founded in 1986 by a group of people which had in it Sharon Reed, William Sargent, Mike McGee, Alison Turner and Jonathan Hills.
These 5 partners started the company in London with first sets of work creating graphics and visual effects, the company got awards for its images within in music videos, commercials, television graphics and television drama.
it wasn't until 1994 til its film visual effects division was set up.
Framestore are a company that add visual effects to films, some work they have done in film visual effects is the following, War horse, Gravity, Harry Brown, Salt and many many more films they have done visual effects for and won multiple awards for them too.
Framestore also provide services of digital imaging for brands and adverts and many areas of media and design is an area that they work into.
