Animatic Review

Shot length

our shot lengths are well fitted being mostly only 1.5 seconds long each and longer for important shots like visual effects e.g floating books and cloning.
We had loads of shots so we could have them really short which was fine due to having so many to make the clip.

camera movement

we have the animatic shots are moving for when its zooming to reveal more in the room or people and other movements would be when the characters would be moving along the camera would follow them so the shot moves in the direction of there movement.

Sound levels

the sound levels in the clip are quiet for the soundtrack however much louder when it comes to dialogue so people understand the text spoken and make it more engaging.
The levels of the background music is silent to begin with the eventually turning up louder however remaining quieter then the dialogue, then it dies back down at the end.

Voice acting

the voice acting was preformed in a sound proof room and rehearsed well before recording to get the best possible results in terms of clean audio,
we had 3 sets of characters speaking in the clip so we had two teenage voices which were easily preformed due the others in my group speaking in there normal voices whilst recording, however i had to voice act the headteacher which took multiple recordings and retakes due to keeping the same and sounding right.

VFX

the visual effects in the clip were clearly shown in there presence and what they do however we could of added more to them to show what the look what be more like e.g adding lights and color to the glowing book and steam in the punched wall.

Peer feedback

in our feedback we were praised for are number of shots and the length of each shot and also the story was easy to follow however it was said that the dialogue was limited and need more of it to grab the audience but with that in mind everything else was good and praised by our peers.
